MEMBERSHIP FAQ
Our Tots sessions are for children from aged 2. Our development sessions are for ages 4-14 years old.
Tots sessions are 45 minutes. Development groups sessions are 55 minutes.
Yes, all of our sessions are mixed. We think that boys and girls benefit from playing football together at this age.
Speak to one of our coaches – we can advise you based on age, playing experience, social confidence etc.
Our coaches work with the same groups each week, of course we do occasionally make changes for holidays etc but very rarely. Your child’s coach will become a familiar face.
Yes! We are confident that you and your child will love OTB Coaching and we offer the first session free to all new players.
Payments are made by direct debit on the 1st of every month
Yes. Many of our courses are full and have waiting lists, so payment is required to retain your place. Additionally, we have to pay for venues and our coaches even though you miss the session and we need to cover our costs.
Our Tots sessions are designed for parents to attend and often to join in the fun!
For all other sessions we are more than happy for parents to stay and watch and many do so, but it is not compulsory. However, please ensure we have up-to-date contact details for you and that we know arrangements for collection of your child at the end of their session.
Comfortable clothes suitable for sport. Football boots can be worn outdoor in suitable ground conditions, but we recommend that all players wear shin pads (except in tots sessions).
Yes, don’t worry, your schedule shouldn’t change.

CAMPS FAQ
Our camps are for all children aged 5-14 years.
Outdoor and indoor sports shoes – Doesn’t have to be football boots, trainers are fine. No studs indoors.
- A change of clothes
- Sun cream
- Sun hat
- Waterproof jacket
- Shinpads
- Snack
- Packed lunch
- Lots of non fizzy drink
- ENERGY!
No. Camps are intended for you to leave your player with us for the day – go to work, shop, put your feet up! You are welcome to watch at any time and parents often arrive a little early at pickup time to see the end of the session.
All of our coaches are very experienced at making children feel welcome and integrating them with other players to make new friends.
We understand that some children will feel nervous and you can rest assured that we will take care of your child and they will be well looked after.
Absolutely. We love to work with children of all abilities. Camps are designed to improve player development. However, our camps are not your usual holiday camp experience, we ask for players who are serious about getting better.
Yes. All of our coaches have up-to-date DBS checks.
Yes. All of our coaches are highly trained and FA qualified and we all love working with children.
Of course. Please make sure you bring a clearly-named inhaler to the session and hand it to one of our team at the start of the day. We will keep it readily available in case it is needed.
You will be asked to complete a registration form when signing your child up online. Please ensure that you let us know if any contact details change.
PAYMENTS FAQ
No – all payments will be taken by direct debit on the 1st of each month
No – we have calculated the monthly direct debits at an average so that each payment is the same amount regardless of the number of scheduled sessions in the month. Please note that December will be charged at the normal rate as the Christmas closure period is factored into your monthly pricing.
Yes. Our policy has always been that all sessions must be paid for as we incur our costs whether or not players attend. It also ensures your players place in protected when absent.
- If a cancellation is planned before the direct debits are processed, we will adjust your payment for that month accordingly
- For last minute cancellations, which we expect to be minimal, we will reduce the next month’s payments
